Miriam achieved her level 3 Matwork Pilates qualification in 2016 ,on completing this qualification she discovered an interest in integrating pilates and rehabilitation after her time spent within the RUH in Bath as a Therapy assistant. During this time she worked in the following areas, older persons unit, Orthopaedics, stroke and neurology. Miriam then went on to do further qualifications in Pilates for neurological Conditions and Pilates for older adults. Miriam loves sharing her passion with others and the benefits that come from regularly practising good movement of our bodies.
Amy qualified as a physiotherapist in 2002 and has over 15 years experience working in neurological rehabilitation. She spent over 6 years working in Spinal Cord Injuries at Salisbury Spinal Unit. From there, she has gone on to work with a wide variety of neurological conditions including stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons, Motor Neurone, Adult Cerebral Palsy and head injuries.
Emma moved from London to Bath where she started a family and ran a Momtessori School. Her passion for yoga grew ,and then having a son with cerebral palsy Emma was astounded by the benefits yoga had on him. Emma trained as a Hatha yoga instructor and a “Rainbow Kids Yoga” teacher. She has also trained with “Special Yoga for Special Children” , Teen Yoga and teaches chair yoga. Emma is passionate about the positive effects yoga has on every body and every mind.
18 years ago I was encouraged by a friend to think about what motivates me and what i value the most, and then to look into this as a starting point for new work. I was very unhappy working in a human resources firm; however the training and presentation experience has been so valuable.
I embarked on a couple of years studying part time whilst still working full time for the HR company. Alongside this I started to pick up some part time gym work to gain the experience of the health and fitness industry;
