Medical-Legal Personal Trainer Framework

RMR Rehabilitation has developed a formal Medical-Legal Personal Trainer Framework to provide structured, accountable exercise provision within medico-legal cases.

Trainers who have completed the framework are clearly identified on their profile with the RMR Medical-Legal Approved Trainer logo, showing they have met all governance, safeguarding, and reporting requirements. Other trainers are working towards completing the framework under ongoing RMR supervision.

This framework gives case managers confidence that exercise professionals operate within defined scope, safeguarding standards, and structured reporting processes.

Why This Matters

Exercise professionals are increasingly involved in complex rehabilitation pathways.
Without clear governance, defined scope, and reporting standards, there is an increased risk for clients, multi-disciplinary teams, and case managers
Our framework provides structure, clarity, and reassurance, ensuring all exercise provision is safe, accountable, and aligned with medico-legal requirements.
