Crystal is a registered AHCS Clinical Exercise Physiologist, specialising in the use of exercise to support people living with long-term and complex health conditions. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, alongside an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Exercise as Medicine.

In her clinical practice, Crystal works with individuals with a diverse range of conditions, including cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and mental health conditions. She uses her knowledge of clinical exercise physiology to understand each person’s health, physical capabilities and individual needs, developing safe, effective and personalised exercise programmes to support their rehabilitation and long-term health.

Crystal is passionate about helping people use movement and exercise to improve their strength, mobility, cardiovascular fitness, functional independence and overall quality of life. Her approach is person-centred and adaptable, recognising that exercise needs to be appropriate not only for an individual’s medical condition, but also for their abilities, confidence, goals and everyday life.

Alongside her clinical exercise physiology qualifications, Crystal is a CIMSPA-approved Level 3 Personal Trainer and is qualified in exercise referral for individuals with long-term health conditions. Her wider experience includes two years working as a care assistant, which has given her valuable insight into supporting people with daily living needs and maintaining independence. She also holds SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and RLSS UK Lifeguard qualifications.

With a strong commitment to inclusive and accessible exercise, Crystal aims to empower every individual she works with to better understand their capabilities, build confidence in movement and make meaningful improvements to their health and wellbeing.
