Yuri is a Human Biomechanics Specialist, ARNI qualified and Personal Trainer with over 13 years of experience helping people improve their movement, reduce pain and regain confidence in their physical abilities. His work is centred around understanding how the body moves and applying biomechanical principles to help individuals move more efficiently, confidently and independently.
Throughout his career, Yuri has worked with a wide range of individuals with complex rehabilitation and movement needs. This includes supporting people following stroke and those living with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions, as well as individuals experiencing chronic pain, postural dysfunction, recurring injuries and reduced mobility.
Rather than focusing on individual muscles or joints in isolation, Yuri takes a whole-body approach to movement. He views the body as an interconnected system and uses carefully considered exercises to encourage greater coordination and more efficient movement patterns. His approach aims to improve movement quality, balance, coordination and overall physical function, with each programme tailored to the individual’s abilities, needs and goals.
Yuri places great importance on creating a supportive and motivating environment where clients feel confident to explore movement, develop their abilities and make meaningful progress at their own pace. His goal is not simply to improve how someone moves, but to help them build greater confidence in what their body can achieve.
Yuri’s passion for movement extends beyond his professional work. Having participated in a variety of sports throughout his life, he believes that efficient movement is fundamental not only to physical performance, but also to long-term health, confidence and independence. This philosophy continues to shape his approach to rehabilitation and training, helping each client work towards better movement and an improved quality of life.
