Karen

Tulse Hill, South London

Karen is an enthusiastic and compassionate Personal Trainer and Movement Coach with over six years of experience supporting clients to improve their strength, mobility, confidence, and quality of life. She believes that effective coaching starts with understanding each individual, creating a supportive environment where people feel safe to move, build confidence, and progress at a pace that is right for them.

Her passion for movement is supported by ACE certifications as a Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist, and Behaviour Change Specialist, alongside training in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC). Karen is also an experienced aerial athlete, with eight years of high-level movement practice, giving her a strong understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and recovers.

Throughout her coaching career, Karen has worked with clients of all ages and abilities, including older adults living with reduced mobility and long-term joint pain, complete beginners, and individuals returning to exercise following injury, surgery, or extended periods of inactivity. Her experience delivering joint-pain and mobility programmes has strengthened her passion for helping people regain function and independence through safe, personalised exercise.

Karen specialises in creating individualised strength, conditioning, and mobility programmes that meet each client exactly where they are. Known for her patient, clear, and encouraging approach, she understands that rehabilitation is as much about rebuilding confidence as it is about restoring physical function. Her goal is to help every client move better, feel stronger, and regain trust in their body, supporting them towards greater independence and the best possible quality of life.

Karen is fluent in both English and Spanish and can support Spanish-speaking clients directly in their preferred language.
