Fiona is passionate about helping individuals improve their health and fitness, whether in the gym or out in the fresh air. With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, she has supported a wide range of clients, including those managing conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, bone and joint issues, heart attacks, and strokes.
Fiona is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Exercise Referral Practitioner, holding a Level 4 qualification in Physical Activity and Lifestyle Strategies for Managing Low Back Pain. She is also a Level 3 Mat-Based Pilates Instructor with additional training in Pilates for Common Orthopaedic Conditions. Many of the gentle Pilates exercises she incorporates into her sessions focus on slow, controlled movements that help isolate and strengthen muscles and improve joint mobility—techniques often recommended by physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
Understanding the importance of maintaining muscle mass, bone density, and overall strength, Fiona integrates strength and resistance training into all her sessions, using body weight and free weights tailored to each individual’s needs.
Known for her caring and empathetic approach, Fiona aims to motivate and inspire clients to achieve meaningful progress in their fitness journeys. She is a Senior Activity & Health Practitioner registered with CIMSPA (the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) and is fully insured.
