Paul Zahra is a highly experienced personal trainer and strength & conditioning coach with over 25 years in the fitness industry and more than 15 years as a self-employed personal trainer. His career is built on long-term commitment, passion, and a genuine drive to help people improve their physical health, confidence, and quality of life.

Paul has extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients across community, gym, and corporate settings, delivering tailored programmes that support fitness, conditioning, strength, performance, and body composition. He has spent over a decade working within commercial and corporate gym environments and has led a wide variety of group classes, including spin, circuit training, boxing, Body Pump, HIIT, and Tabata.

A significant area of Paul’s expertise is stroke rehabilitation. He has worked with individuals following stroke for over ten years and holds a Stroke Rehabilitation qualification with ARNI (2014). Since qualifying, Paul has supported many people in rebuilding strength, mobility, and independence through safe, structured, and person-centred exercise programmes.

Paul is also a Level 4 qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach and currently works with football clubs and individual footballers, supporting performance, conditioning, and injury-aware training. In addition, he is qualified in Sports Massage Therapy, enabling a well-rounded approach to recovery and physical wellbeing.

Committed to continuous professional development, Paul actively keeps up to date with advances in fitness, sports science, and rehabilitation practice. He is currently undertaking further training towards becoming an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, reinforcing his dedication to delivering the highest standards of care and service.

Paul’s approach is professional, inclusive, and highly experienced, supporting clients of all abilities — from those returning to movement after illness or injury, to individuals seeking improved performance, strength, and long-term health. His longevity in the industry reflects not only his expertise, but his genuine love for the work and ongoing commitment to helping others achieve meaningful, lasting results.
