Paul embarked on his career change in exercise and fitness 11 years ago, starting in the gym for personal health and fitness goals, to then gaining his first qualification being a diploma in health fitness and exercise instruction in 2017.

He then became a mature university student in 2018 and attained a BSc (hons) degree in applied sport and exercise science.

Paul likes to approach things holistically within exercise,  health, fitness and nutrition to assist and maintain healthy living, mental wellbeing and improving individual lifestyle.  He has worked with a variety of clients and conditions from adults, older adults, obesity,  diabetes, mental wellbeing and mental health.  Devising individual plans to ensure every exercise session is specific to the individual.  Adapting to each client's individual particular needs and also preferences in order to help them reach their fitness goals as each client is uniquely individual - paul has found with experience that this promotes extended adhereance alongside resulting in increased enjoyability.  This while maintaining focus on clients health and wellbeing including functional, occupational, correct and safe movements to assist mobility and for improved quality of life.

Paul has always had a passion for rehabilitation, with also assisting family members with numerous disabilities, including mental wellbeing and mobility. 
He continues striving to increase his knowledge with science based implementation for personal growth and client focused rehabilitation, including prevention, remission, maintenance to then improvement and progression.  Paul is also currently working towards joining the sport and exercise science register (SENR).

His aim is to help others significantly improve their own fitness and health, and to maximise their own potential, living a healthier and more active life.
