Henry

SOUTH WEST

Worcestershire

Henry holds a First Class Honours in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation and has mainly worked with the Super BUCS male and female rugby teams at Cardiff Met University. He has worked in both a clinic and pitch side environment and has experience creating rehabilitation programmes for a range of injured athletes enabling optimal recovery.

Being an upper limb amputee himself, Henry understands the importance of the rehabilitation process from both the eyes of a practitioner and a client. He has a high level of empathy based on his personal experiences but emphasises the importance of early action so soon after injury.

Henry has created his own philosophy from his own experiences since losing his arm in November 2022 and aims to share this with clients he works with. Just 22 months post amputation, Henry qualified for the Adaptive CrossFit Games 2024 placing 6th in the world in his division. He is now due to complete his CrossFit level 1 and holds the ATA - Adaptive and Inclusive trainers qualification so is confident in training and working with all adaptive athletes.
