GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

 
ADAPTIVE CHAIR BASED YOGA
CLASS LED BY: AMY

This is a gentle adaptive yoga class, perfect for working on core strength and flexbility. Classes are led by a specialist physiotherapist (Amy) and is chair based. Amy uses her experience as a physio to provide lots of modification and adaptations to ensure everyone can take part.

Amy says "I am a firm believer of yoga for all abilities regardless of their limitations. I enjoy working with my students to explore the possibilities of movement within their own bodies. Yoga is about more than just the physical movement element, it also teaches us to be more aware of our bodies finding that mind and body connection".

SEATED PILATES

A low impact gentle Pilates class for those who prefer or need the support of a chair. Regular Pilates practise can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.

Weekly sessions

Wednesdays between 1:30-2:30pm

SEATED PILATES: LED BY MIRIAM

Pilates sessions designed for individuals who may need the support of a chair or use a wheel chair. No experience needed, there will be a 15 minute window at the end of the session for people to ask questions.

CHAIR BASED HIIT STYLE CLASS

This is a chair based HIIT style class that aims to get your heart rate up, Get the blood pumping and release lots of endorphins (The chemical in your brain that makes you feel good). 30-45 mins is all you need for this session.

Iain is an Adaptive Personal Trainer who specialises in working with clients with Neurological conditions, Spinal injury and other complex needs. Iain also runs a variety of Group exercise classes both online and face to face.
